Dress Code

 

Personal Appearance

Students are expected to be neat and clean in general appearance.  Inappropriate dress and appearance conflict with Iqra’s goal to nurture mature, responsible and socially acceptable behaviour in its students.  Students whose appearance conflicts with the school dress code, as determined by the school administration, will face disciplinary action.  The following is an outline of general appearance: 

Appearance Code

All students must come to school well groomed and clean.  Their uniform should be clean and pressed.  Nails must be clean and trimmed.  

Students’ hair should be clean and neatly combed or brushed.  Hair should be of a conservative style in its natural colour.   Boys may not come to school with hair longer than collar length.

 

Students may not wear any form of jewellery, although girls may wear small studs in their ears.

Caps and hats are not to be worn on school premises unless deemed appropriate by the teacher/ Administrator.

Students are not allowed to use makeup at any time.

Students must come to school dressed in full uniform on all days, including field trip days.
